The cats look like they’re fighting. Are they hurt? Ginger and Cinnamon play several times a day, and it looks like fighting. They aren’t hurt. If one of them didn’t want to play, there are plenty of places for them to run and hide from the other kitty.
Do the cats ever go outside? No, Ginger and Cinnamon are indoor cats.
Are Ginger and Cinnamon declawed? No, but they do “get their nails done.” In other words, they get their claws clipped, but they are not declawed.
How do you care for the cats? We take them for regular veterinary appointments, including for vaccinations. They receive Revolution treatments once a month to prevent worms, fleas, and ticks. We put Protefood, a dietary supplement, in their food to treat Cinnamon’s gingavitis. Even though Ginger doesn’t have gingivitis, it doesn’t harm her to eat the supplement. Cinnamon’s gingavitis has cleared up, but we have to keep giving the Protefood in order to keep it away.
